I lived in Lindale for almost 4 yrs. My Mother, friends and Family are still there. I graduated from Mrs Coker's class, last year, but, I must admit that, the one thing that I will never forget about Lindale is my best friend, Jesse. He commited suicide in 1996, and tried to kill his Mother. I was always badly outcast in this town, simply because I am different! When Jesse died, the entire town did a turn around and felt sorry for Jesse. When he was still alive the People of Lindale ridiculed us, because we were different. I always hated living in Lindale, but when I met Jesse, Lindale was an "OK PLACE TO BE". He is dead now and the town is not, nor will it ever be the same. Lindale is a very old fashion southern Baptist belt sort of place. It hasn't done me much good, simply because I haven't done myself any good, by living there. I really don't know what to say about that town, except it's definately an experience, I won't forget....REST IN PEACE JESSE. I LOVE YOU |
