Hey Lindale. I saw the new Welcome to Lindale sign on the website; I really like it. Well I just was wanting to say whats up to the LHS class of 2006. I dont stay in touch with my friends like I used to and its been forever since I've talked to any of them. SO if you are a freshman this year then email me if you know me. ...Really would like to keep in touch. I want to move back to Lindale but the school that I am going to out here in CALIFORNIA is: Foothill Technology High School. It a Technology/ health based High School. What makes it different and unique is that it for every three students there is one computer. We have pods in the center of the classes where we go into to type out essays or do fo research. Also, there are no bells, just a reminder bell at Break and Lunch. Every class here at FTHS is College Prep, unless you are in AP etc.FTHS is on the traditional shedule and we are on block schedule. we have all our classes on Monday but we get out at 1:45pm and on Tuesdays and Thursdays we have out 1,3,5,7 period classes. On Wednesdays and Fridays we have 2,4,6,7 period classes and get out at the regular Tues-Friday time at 3:00 . Only Freshman leave at 3pm. 10th, 11th, and 12th graders get out right after 7th period but freshman have to go to SDL (Student Directed Learning)...If you dont get you homework done of need to use a computer then u would sign out of your SDL class and go to lets say you MATH class, then u go and are back in SDL by 2:55. Another thing is they let you have Off Campus P.E. You could go to the gym etc. Well, sorry i got carried away, lol. I've got to go, Im going to try to finish my book, Desperation by S.King Bye. . .
