All of the "tan" area is Smith County. The Northern boundary of Smith County is the Sabine River. The Eastern boundary is shown as a "olive colored" line, running North-South, and passes right through the incorporated area of Overton, Tx.

In the Southwest Corner of the map, the county line is right through the middle of Lake Palestine.
